Fujimi 1/72 F35 Lightning II

This is the review of the F-35 Lightning II in 1/72 from Fujimi.

The F-35 was meant to be an airplane to replace most of the existing ones. Meant to have a vertical take of and landing version (VTOL), a convencional take of and landing and an aircraft carrier version... Meant to be a cheap stealth aircraft, a little like the F-16... But is having so many problems on the development, that its future is still unknown.

This model confuses me... In one hand it has astonishing recessed lines details, cockpit, its a little work of art.

On the other hand, it has bulky idiotic "plug in" holes to fit many of the parts...

The fittings for the doors are so bulky and large that it almost seems like to be done as a toy, not as a serious model...

And that puzzles me, as you see a lot of nice detail, a beautyfull craftmanship, and then, "click in" bulky structures.

So I don't know if I should call this a perfect model or an absurd childish toy! I simply don't know what to think of it... It has the traditional perfect details typical of Fujimi, but seems like a "toy version"...

So, its up for you to decide... I honestly don't know what to think of it...
