Airfix 1/76 M3 Lee

This is the review of the M3 Lee in 1/76 from Airfix.

The M3 lee was a medium tank used early in the fourties, but even if it was the starting ground for the M4 Sherman, it became quickly outdated... Still, its 75mm low velocity gun was adequate for its time.

The model kit itself can be very enjoyable. Two versions can be made, the English Grant, or the American Lee. Tracks are not that bad, but some detail is missing on the inside of the suspension.

I recomend to get an aftermarket gun, as the original one can be a little rough.Appart from that, it is a nice model.

Its cheap, rivets are there, most of the necessary parts are in there, the entry doors can be made open, even if the inside is empty... Appart from that, a nice little model... Dont expect much, and you'll get a funny weekend build.
