Revell 1/72 SLT50-3 "Elefant" tank transporter

This is the review of the SLT50-3 "Elefant" tank transporter in 1/72 from Revell

The Elefant tank transporter is one of the newer generation of tank transporters, that can go a little over 50 ton. They were built up to 1979 and upgraded in 1994.

This also sold in separate or in a bundle. I dont recomend this model for a begginer, but for an intermediate/experienced model builder.

Its not that it is hard to build, but it has so many small parts, so much detail, that if you are not used to handle the parts, you will get a bad experience...

Suspension is perfect, both in the tractor and trailer.

And that is the keyword on this model: detail. So, if you do have the patience to be making a model with such small parts, and be using tweezers for most of the time, this one can become astonishing.

As a final remark, it is one of the nicest tank transporters, even if it may be a little trick to make all wheels on the same plane...
