Trumpeter 1/72 BTR-80

This is the review of the BTR-80 in 1/72 from Trumpeter.

The BTR-80 is an amphibious armoured personal carrier designed in the eighties in the soviet union. It is meant to be able to transport infantry into the battle field.

The model kit is fairly well detailed, the bottom has enough features, speccially if we take into account the real size of the model.

The construction is easy, without big harassments.

In fact, it doesn have that much parts, its a weekend peacefull build. Although it has some flash...

The gun is well moulded, and the headlights are good.

I didn't used the original decals, decided to do an unconvencional UN white version.

As a final remark, a simple and enjoyable build, of a small big vehicle. Good for starting, relaxing for experient modelers.
