Trumpeter 1/72 Sd-Kfz.9 and tank transporter

This is the review of the Sd.Kfz.9 and tank transporter from trumpeter in 1/72.
 

The Sd. Kfz.9 "famo" was a known half track german vehicle, and the heavyest mass produced. It was one of the prime movers, and together with the Sd.Ah.116 trailer could carry most of the disabled vehicles...

This model kit is not easy to do... Not because of bad fitting, but because it is extremelly detailed.

I would not advise this one for a begginer, as  the small parts are tricky to handle for a first timer. but setting that aside, is an astonishing model.

There are 2 tracks options: the rubber I've used, and a solid one made piece by piece...

The detail on the suspension is amazing, and we can see the cable tow mechanism.

The trailer is also very finelly detailed. 
 

These are sold together or separate, but they make a remarkable set. It can be made in driving or loading configuration.

So, I do advise to get it. it is a big model, and together with nearly any tank, it can make a show stopper. Just be patience when assembling it... take your time.
