This is the review of the 1/144 Boeing 737-800 from Revell.
The 737 is the series with more success in the low to medium range. From the original series with a low bipass turbofan, passsing by the classic series with far better economy, up to the next gen. And this is the most developped 737, until the introduction of the Max.
This model has a very good landing gear and landing gear well, pretty much detailed.
Even the main landing gear wells are included in a recessed form, no need to chop-up and scratch build it. In fact, you may use it as a template for nearly any other 737.
You may keep the clear windows or not, its your choice.
Speaking of details, it has recessed panel lines, not toyish like, and it does look adequate.
It does look nice on any collection, no big problems in building it, it has nice fitting, but the wings require some attention so that they do not get bent.
Appart from that, you do enjoy building it. Everything fits right out of the box, there are many versions of it, with or without wing tips.
As a final remark, I think I would build it again if I'd find a good deal. I'd probably chop it up a little to make a 700 or increase it for a 900 version. It does have potencial for that. Just have fun with it.
