Airfix 1/76 Churchill VII

This is the review of the Churchill VII in 1/76 from Airfix.

The Churchill was a heavy infantry tank. It wasn't fast, but was well armoured, and was suited to follow the infantry.

Airfix model kits were known for beautyfull pics, but poor fitting... The new model kits are nothing like that, but this is from an old mould...

Although it does have nice details, the suspension is a nightmare to properly fit... gluing, not gluing, it is hard, as each road and suspension arm is independent... good for detail, but hard to set up properly...

Appart from that, it is a nice one. The tracks are made from rubber, but can be upgraded... if you find them in 1/76...

But after handling the suspension, the rest is quite peacefull... Good to practice, as it isn't expensive, and can become quite nice. So, go ahead and try it...
