Revell 1/72 Gotha Go 229

This is the review of the 1/72 Horten IX/ Gotha go 229 from Revell

The Gotha  Go 229 was one of the most astonishing aircraft on WW2. If it had been produced in numbers large enough, it could have won the skys. Not only it was the first Jet Flying Wing, as it had characteristics that would render him stealth... If it had went to attack Britain, they would have detected him when it was too late... This is one of the most revolutionary aircraft ever, even if it was tricky to fly.

About this model, it has a very nice amount of detail. The machine guns can be seen, and if we want to do it disassembled, without its wings, it has a good wing spar on the main body. So, it can be used to do a transport/build diorama.

The landing gear has a good amount of detail, and most of it can be seen.

This was build a long time ago, and the clear coat got a little bit foggy and bad... but most of the details can be seen. the front landing gear is very nice!

The exhaust is also well detailed as well as the engines. Despite the mould age, it is still a nice airplane to build. It has the right amount of detail, the cockpit is very cool, and it is one of a kind airplane. Still today, there is research in order to find out how much of stealth it could have really been.
