The Su-47 was made with several common parts with the Su-27, in order to keep its costs down. It was meant to be a functional big fighter aircraft, but it became an important technology demonstrator, both in avionics and in composite materials. It does have an internal weapons bay, and it was close to be a full funcional aircraft. However, even if it had an astonishing agility, it became one of its kind. Its main unique feature is its forward swept wings.
The weapons bay is well represented, as well as its robust landing gear. Even if the landing gear wells are empty.
Appart from that, the landing gear itself is good.
The front lanidng gear also has the right ammount of detail.
And in this case, the landing gear wll has a bit more detail.
The cockpit is very well detailed, and it can be seen. As well as some dust on the airplane, which should have been cleaned before taking pictures of it...
There isn't much to say about this model... Everything fits, even if a few parts can be slightly tricky.
And it looks good on any collection, specially to hear people saying to you that you've assembled the wings in the wrong position...
After all, just get one. It is a remarkable aircraft, and a very nice model. A peacefull build, in the end.
